For some strange reason I really like lists. I like making lists, I like writing lists, I like reading lists. So here are a couple of my lists for your reading pleasure.
Best Memories of 2007 ::
- Not having to work at Weis Markets ever again.
- Spending Memorial Day weekend at Pymatuning Lake with the family, and getting yelled at by the cops for riding on the back of my dad’s car.
- Greeting a third little Geiser baby into the world, Rachael.
- Impact 2007 with the Shepherdstown UMC youth group :: water balloon attacks, Walmart runs, Lonard’s yummy cooking, good music
- Visit to Seattle, WA :: Mars Hill Graduate School, Mount Rainier, etc…
- Golden family retreat to Deep Creek, MD
- Turning 23 years old.
Things I’d like to do in ‘08 ::
- Ride in a hot air balloon (this is always at the top of every one of my lists, but I have yet to complete it….)
- Read my Bible more often.
- Finish reading Crime & Punishment for heaven’s sakes!
- Lose some weight……..or to be specific, a lot of weight.
- Raise $$ for a trip to China
- Learn some new difficult classical guitar pieces
- Be a better listener
- Get back into the habit of journaling
- Get rid of all my excess junk
- Stop using “busyness” as an excuse for not doing things or seeing people
- Watch less TV and movies — this will be especially hard now that Lost will be back on soon!!
- Move to Seattle and love every minute of it.
